Emerson got his first break in 1998 when asked to play the warm up set for Emma Frisco at Delicious(Oswestry), which hosted an array of top notch DJs such as John Kelly, Matt Hardwick, Jeremy Healy, Seb Fontaine, Sonny Wharton, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Sonique & K-Klass to name a few. Delicious was regularly listed in the top 10 clubbing of mixmag.

He was then given the opportunity to run the 2nd room at Delicious on New Years Eve 1999 which then led to his fortnightly residency at Delicious. During this time running the 2nd Room he was able to host locally talented DJs whilst giving them the chance to play to a crowd that were there for the music and not just the big names.

In 2005-2006 Emerson then landed a residency in Shrewsbury with Invasion. Playing out Techno/Trance & Hard House playing amongst DJs such as Judge Jules (Gatecrasher), Fergie (Trade), Vinyl Groover (Hard Trance), K90 (Gatecrasher, Ministry of Sound) & Alistair Whitehead (Renaissance).

Other hard dance events that Emerson played at were:-
Frequency, Orange Peel North Wales, Dj’s Scott Project, M-Zone Nuclear Audio @ Bar Fly formally The Masque, Liverpool DJs Mark E.G., Alex Calver, Andy Farley, Proteus, Distek Bass Instinct @ Time, Bangor, North Wales DJs Scratch Perverts, Danny Killa

Moving on from the hard dance seen Emerson joined forces with Oliver Twisted to host FIDGET! This was based in our home town of Oswestry where 2007 turned out to be a very busy year! Oliver the Head Honcho for Fidget & Emerson as his partner in crime both as Resident DJs had got Oswestry & surrounding area's rocking again with their monthly house and filthy electro. With an array of hot dj’s Sonny Wharton (Renaissance), Danny Nightingale (Mass, Judgment Sundays @ Eden,) and the 1 and only Charlotte Birch (Sundissential, Wildchild, Slinky who played her last U.K. house/electro set before flying out to Australia.

He went on to play at the Workhouse Festival one of the most eclectic, upbeat festival's ever to have hit Wales. A true extravaganza of live music, cabaret, and DJs, workshops and kids entertainment. Last year saw an increase in attendance from 2,000 to over 5,000. Also The Volkswagen Extravaganza festival in 2007-2008 in Oswestry holding 3 arenas included a Dance Arena which Emerson & Oliver Twisted hosted as The Fidget Arena.

Heading back to his roots Emerson has now secured a residency with Sub Kutz & will be hitting you with a big mash up of tech house/fidget, hip house & jackin breaks fused with brooding techno & filthy electro.
