| Sub Kutz resident DJ Paul Stevens Paul J Stevens began his DJ’ing career 12 Years ago. His Infectious Progressive Trance style has seen him play at world recognised clubs such as Ministry of Sound and Cream. With forthcoming summer bookings at Cream, Amnesia & Eden (Ibiza) he‘s having a great year. Many UK events such as the legendary Connected, Gifted, Eyecandy, Housework, Frisky & Sundissential have bared witness to his uplifting style over the years. His own events, Furious & Diamonds & Souls were always successful but temporary. He simply wanted to do what he does best, entertaining the crowd with his music and technical diversity on the decks. Opportunities on radio shows soon followed. Once Birmingham’s and arguably the UK’s leading electronic music station “BPM” invited him to host entire evenings on the show with many praises from a fan base across the globe. Both Delicious & Redefined have added him as a valued resident after providing flawless peak time sets and professionally crafted warm up sets. Although Paul has never emulated other artist he’s always maintained one focus “Always provide a distinct and uplifting performance”. Paul believes that Djing has a fundamental purpose. A natural ability to read people, then it’s about being able to tap into that human emotional response and take it on a journey. Paul is finally becoming noted for this exceptional skill, and although his style is described as “Progressive Trance” with a presence of House his music has always reached beyond specific record store brands. Paul creates and plays music that gives emotion a chance to speak. It is this universal appeal and vigorous work ethic that has entered him into fast becoming a master. |
